Are you passionate about driving quality excellence and continuous improvement in a high-tech manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Brazil and play a key role in ensuring our products, processes, and systems meet the highest standards.
About the Role
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll support operations by implementing quality control systems, analyzing performance data, and resolving quality-related issues across production and supply chain activities. You’ll work collaboratively with production, engineering, and supplier teams to drive improvements, minimize risk, and ensure customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product manufacturability and quality standards

Review and improve product specifications and tolerances

Use quality tools and techniques (FMEA, 8D, PDCA, SPC, etc.) for root cause analysis and corrective actions

Monitor and analyze product/process performance data to identify trends and opportunities

Provide training and guidance on quality improvement initiatives

Liaise with suppliers to resolve non-conformances and conduct supplier audits

Recommend and implement system improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs

Support compliance with industry regulations and maintain quality certifications
What You’ll Bring
Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project)

Practical experience with quality control systems and methodologies
-
Solid understanding of core quality tools (e.g., Ishikawa, Pareto, SPC charts, 8D, PDCA)
-
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Fluent in written and spoken English

Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong working relationships
Desirable:

MBA in Quality Management or Lean Manufacturing

ERP system knowledge

Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification (e.g., Black Belt)

Familiarity with tools like 5 Whys, SUT diagrams, Affinity diagrams
