Sonardyne is seeking an experienced and strategic Channel Manager to drive the growth and development of our global reseller network. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering sustainable sales growth, optimizing reseller operations, and expanding our market presence through effective channel strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth & Network Expansion:
    • Drive profitable growth in sales, with a focus on lower-value products, spares, and after-market service offerings.
    • Expand the reseller network to ensure comprehensive geographical and sectoral coverage.
  • Reseller Relationship Management:
    • Manage and strengthen partner relationships, ensuring compliance with Sonardyne policies.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, target setting, and value-add strategy alignment.
    • Develop and execute enablement strategies, equipping resellers with tools, training, and marketing resources to succeed.
  • Process Optimisation & Technology Integration:
    • Simplify and optimize commercial processes using sales technology to enhance business performance and engagement.
    • Improve dashboards and data visibility to streamline KPI tracking and decision-making.
    • Strengthen renewal and non-renewal processes for channel partners, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Framework & Policy Development:
    • Create frameworks for selecting new channel partners, defining roles, responsibilities, and incentive models.
    • Harmonize policies on discounts, commissions, and payments for resellers and agents, ensuring consistent regional implementation.
  • Commercial & Market Growth Initiatives:
    • Support commercial initiatives to drive revenue growth through the reseller network and Sonardyne’s eShop.
    • Develop sales and marketing strategies to expand Sonardyne’s market share and customer base.
  • Contractual & Compliance Management:
    • Work with the contracts team to ensure all partner agreements are relevant, up to date, and effectively maintained.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Essential:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a successful international reseller network, ideally in offshore, underwater technology, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to grow and optimize a global reseller network across diverse geographies.
  • Strong track record of delivering significant sales growth and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative approach and the confidence to earn stakeholder trust.

Desirable:

  • Technical understanding of Sonardyne equipment or similar technologies.
  • Experience in technical or operational roles within the offshore or underwater technology sector.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
