Customer Support Engineer – Singapore

Are you ready to take your technical skills global? At Sonardyne, we’re looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore and deliver world-class support for our cutting-edge subsea technology. This is a dynamic role for a self-motivated engineer who’s ready to work hands-on with customers across diverse locations – both onshore and offshore.


What You’ll Be Doing

Workshop-Based Responsibilities:

  • Test, repair, and calibrate the full range of Sonardyne products

  • Diagnose PCB and system-level faults and provide effective fixes

  • Manage equipment booking, inventory, and calibration schedules

  • Act as the local champion for new products and testing procedures

Customer Technical Support:

  • Provide responsive and accurate technical support to customers via phone, email (Salesforce), or in person

  • Liaise with Sonardyne’s global support teams to ensure top-tier service delivery

Field Engineering Support:

  • Install, commission, and service equipment on rigs, vessels, and dockyards worldwide

  • Build strong customer relationships, provide hands-on product familiarisation, and submit clear service documentation

  • Ensure all work adheres to SOPs and HSE standards

Additional Support:

  • Assist in training, demos, and exhibitions

  • Support sales teams with technical input and identify new opportunities during site visits


What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/HND/HNC in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar

  • Strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning electronic systems

  • Experience working with integrated systems and software/hardware fault diagnosis

  • Ability to produce technical reports and customer-facing documentation

  • Offshore working experience is a plus
