About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Process Engineer to lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, monitoring, and implementing process improvements and engineering changes that align with production goals and quality standards.

You’ll be hands-on in shaping production processes, identifying improvement opportunities, leading change projects, and ensuring seamless integration of new products into manufacturing operations. This is a high-impact role ideal for an engineer who thrives on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead NPI process implementation and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Define equipment and resource needs, including producing investment lists and working with purchasing teams for cost estimation

  • Perform capacity and layout analysis for new and existing processes

  • Develop and maintain documentation: work instructions, process flowcharts, control plans, FMEA, and capacity analysis

  • Train operators on new processes and monitor performance during ramp-ups

  • Ensure documentation and processes are aligned with Sonardyne International standards

  • Participate in root cause analysis and prepare detailed reports

  • Drive ergonomic, layout, and automation improvements

  • Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely procurement and implementation of production resources

 


What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or a related field

  • Proven hands-on experience with NPI and process implementation

  • Skilled in using line balancing methods, quality tools (PDCA, MSA, control charts), and process optimization techniques

  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and project coordination skills

Desirable:

  • MBA or postgraduate degree in a related field

  • Fluent or advanced English

  • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation
