About the Role:
Are you an experienced workshop supervisor looking for your next challenge? Sonardyne is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join our Aberdeen Regional Office Team. You will play a crucial role in supervising the Aberdeen Workshop and Warehouse, ensuring efficient operations while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily workshop and warehouse activities, ensuring optimal operational effectiveness.
- Supervise and mentor Workshop Technicians, providing technical guidance and training.
- Conduct repair, servicing, and calibration of Sonardyne equipment, including component-level repairs.
- Provide accurate and timely repair quotations.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal departments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company and customer quality processes and promote a safety-first culture.
- Keep up to date with new product releases and attend technical training updates.
- Provide regular management reports on repair status and operational issues.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience supervising a workshop and warehouse department.
- Extensive experience in repair, servicing, and calibration work.
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Valid driving license.
Desirable:
- Relevant supervisory experience in a technical environment.
- Practical knowledge of Sonardyne products and systems.
- Experience using manufacturing/engineering systems like Syspro.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.
